How to Use the Grow a Garden Pet Calculator

Use the Grow a Garden Pet Calculator to check a pet's current ability, compare it with a higher-age projection, and decide whether the pet is worth leveling, mutating, or trading.

1. Enter your pet

Search the pet name, then add its current weight and age. The calculator uses those numbers to estimate how the pet scales.

2. Add mutation and buffs

Choose the mutation and any toy or sprinkler buffs that apply. This changes the result instantly.

3. Read the result cards

Current ability shows the pet now. Projected ability shows what it may become at the selected target age.

4. Use it before trades

Rarity is not everything. A pet with a useful cooldown, hatch boost, value bonus, or XP effect may be more valuable for your setup.

How to read the numbers

  • Ability cooldown: lower is better.
  • Hatch time reduction: higher is better.
  • Success chance: higher is better.
  • Value multiplier or XP gain: higher is better.

Quick notes

Some stats can hit a limit. For example, a cooldown may stop improving while hatch reduction keeps rising. If the game updates, treat numbers as estimates until they are checked again.

What this calculator is for

This page helps players answer one practical question: if this pet gets heavier, older, mutated, or buffed, how does its ability change?

How to read the cards

Each card shows the current number first, then the projected number. Lower cooldowns are usually better; higher chances, XP, value multipliers and hatch reductions are usually better.
